Shining Bird have been described musically as creating a sort of widescreen "Valium Pop', Often evoking a sense of being forever stuck in the credits of an 80s teen movie.
Shining Bird combine elements of 50s style crooning, hazy beach-boy harmonies and euphoric drones to create a unique brand of slow motion Dream Pop with an endless backdrop of lush, distinctly Australian soundscapes.
From their solar powered studio on the NSW south coast Shining Bird work together on a number of projects.
Their debut EP titled "Shade Of The Sea" was released in January 2012.
