Pocket of Stones (POS) is a four-piece acoustic rock band based in Sydney Australia composing of Scott McLintock (vox/guitar), Brendan Biddle (guitar/backing vox), Rob Hamilton (upright and downright bass) and Chris Jackson (drums). The band utilises a mixture of acoustic and electric instruments as well as unique harmonisation and syncopated patterns to create a rich and catchy sound.
Having only formed in mid 2011 their credits already include independently releasing their debut EP “Bondi Dreaming” which they toured through Victoria, Queensland and New South Wales, opening Tropfest in Wollongong in 2012 and playing at “The Bondi Music Festival” and The Star Casino’s converted Rock Lily venue at the end of 2011. The title track off their EP went to number 1 on the Triple J unearthed rock charts just before Christmas 2011 and due to their success on triple J is scheduled to play at the 2012 Royal East Show in Sydney and is a support act for Sarah McLeod (Superjesus) and James Walsh (Starsailor) at their Sydney show to be held at the Standard on 24th March 2012.
